InterviewSoul

Privacy policy

Last updated 13 October 2026

Draft. This page describes how the product works today. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and the parts in [brackets] still need your details. Have it checked before you launch.

The short version

InterviewSoul turns speech into text on your own computer. Audio never leaves it. To write an answer, the app sends text to our server, which passes it to OpenAI. We store your email address, how much session time you have used, and how large each answer was. We do not store what was said, your documents, or your screenshots.

Who we are

InterviewSoul is run by [your company or legal name], [address]. You can reach us at [email protected].

What stays on your computer

What is sent when you ask for an answer

This goes to our server and from there to OpenAI, which writes the answer. Our server passes it through and does not keep it. OpenAI handles it under its own terms for business customers; see OpenAI's privacy and data-retention pages for how long it may hold requests.

What we store

Companies that process data for us

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Other people in your conversations

The app transcribes what the other side of a call says. You are responsible for having any consent that the law where you and they are requires before you use it on a call.

How long we keep things

Account and usage records are kept while your account exists. Ask us to delete your account at [email protected] and we will remove them, apart from payment records we must keep by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, export or delete the data we hold about you, and to object to how we use it. Write to [email protected].

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app or by email before it takes effect.
