What InterviewSoul is

InterviewSoul is an app for Mac and Windows that transcribes a conversation on your computer and suggests what you could say, together with the website at interviewsoul.tech where you manage your account. It is provided by Saurav Ghimire, New Jersey, USA ("we", "us"). By creating an account, downloading the app or using either of them, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use InterviewSoul.

Answers are suggestions

Answers are written by an AI model and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Transcripts can contain mistakes. You decide what to say and are responsible for it. Do not rely on InterviewSoul for legal, medical, financial or safety decisions.

Plans and payment

Your content

Your documents, transcripts, screenshots and calendar entries are yours. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. You confirm you have the right to use what you upload.

Our app and website

The app, the website and the InterviewSoul name and logo belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to install and use the app on your own computers while you have an account in good standing. Parts of the app are open-source software under their own licences; see Credits below.

Updates and availability

The app checks for updates and may install them automatically. We may change, add or remove features. We work to keep the service running, but it depends on other companies' services and may be interrupted. Do not depend on it for something where an interruption would cause you serious harm.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time, and ask us to delete your account at [email protected]. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and if we do, payments already made are not refunded. If we stop offering InterviewSoul altogether, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and refund the unused part of any month you have paid for.

Liability

InterviewSoul is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, such as a lost job offer, lost income or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose or $50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you; nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by contract.

Your responsibility to us

If someone makes a claim against us because of how you used InterviewSoul in breach of these terms or the law, such as transcribing someone without the consent required, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows.

Law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of the State of New Jersey, USA. Before starting any formal dispute, please write to [email protected] and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. Any court case is to be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using InterviewSoul after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, cancel before then.

General

These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about InterviewSoul. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer your account or these terms to someone else; we may transfer them to a business that takes over InterviewSoul, and we will tell you if we do. InterviewSoul is not affiliated with Zoom, Google, Microsoft or any employer or test provider.
